Featured Artist: NI Wayan Karti
Ni Wayan Karti is a wonderful artist from Bentuyung UBUD. She started painting at age 6, starting with a drawing book, then developed an interest in painting. With the great support of her husband (also a painter) she made the bold choice to become a painter, which not many women in Bali choose to do. She most enjoys painting about the lives of the Balinese people. Ni Wayan Karti and her husband continue to share ideas and a life in the rice fields outside of Ubud Bali.
